Executive Director at Ontario Good Roads Association

For the past 12 years, Joe Tiernay has been the executive director of the Ontario Good Roads Association. Joe entered the field of association management after a 20 year career in municipal government in Ontario working for the Town of Alliston, City of Woodstock, Town of Ajax and finally as Chief Administrative Officer for the County of Peterborough.  Prior to assuming the position with OGRA, Joe was the Executive Director of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, a 10,000 member professional development association based in southern California.  Joe holds a diploma in Business Administration from Humber College in Toronto and was recently awarded the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his years of public service.
